Wedding season in full swing!

Congratulations to Lucy and Michael, for tying the knot this weekend and allowing The Tartelettes to create their wedding cake. We had so much fun creating this 4 tiered wedding cake. 

Each tier was a different flavour. The first tier was a Red Velvet Chocolate Layer cake, filled with cinnamon cream cheese and cherries soaked in Kirsch. The second tier was a Pistachio, Cardamon and Rosewater Layer cake. The third tier was a Lemon and Blueberry layer cake filled with lemon curd, Chantilly cream and fresh blueberries. And the final tier as a delicious Victoria Sponge, filled with fresh fruit and Chantilly cream.

Another satisfied customer

A truly impressive red velvet chocolate cake decorated with edible chocolate leaves, fresh strawberries and the most amazing cream cheese frosting. And a cute take on the popular carrot cupcakes with real carrot decorations. We had such fun doing these!

The Tartelettes at the Dulwich Festival 2013

The Tartelettes will be at the Dulwich Festival 2013 this Sunday 12th May 2013 from 11am to 4pm at Goose Green in East Dulwich and again on Sunday 19th May 2013 from 12pm to 6pm at Dulwich Park.

There is a host of exciting events planned for this year, and as always the Festival Fair is filled with wonderful stalls, fabulous food, drinks and an array of activities for children and adults. Bouncy castles, face-painting and donkey rides, and of course live music.

What a great market day we had at the West Norwood Feast. The sun was shining, the people were smiling and the cakes were all gone by 2pm. Thanks to all the beautiful customers that came down to our stall.

Is that time of the year once again! We love the wedding season, specially when we have such beautiful clients like Charlotte and David, who have allowed us to express our creative flair so openly. Savoury Tarts

The Tartelettes are not only about cakes, we do delicious and enticing savoury tarts too. This weekend we served mouthwatering savoury tarts at the Horniman Museum Easter Fair. Check these out!

Not sure where to take the kids this Easter weekend? How about the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill for a weekend of fun and adventure. You will be able to take part in a Easter Egg Hunt, enjoy delicious food, join in a Bandstand Bunny Hop and learn all about rabbits!

The event is on Saturday and Sunday, 30th and 31st of March 2013 from 10.30 to 4.30pm and it is free.

And the best of all is that The Tartelettes will be there too, selling delicious and mouth watering savoury tartlets and other delicious food. Check here for more details on the day.
